Olivia Attwood on Love Island[/caption]
A TV source told The Sun: “This is a sign that the dating favourite is now so big and produces figures with such high profiles that they can no longer be dismissed.
“Olivia is already viewed as a rising star on ITV and this is likely to serve as a launchpad for potentially fronting more mainstream shows with the broadcaster.”
Attwood already has experience of bush tucker after taking part in I’m A Celeb’s spin-off show I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp in Australia, as a special guest, in 2018. The experience saw her eat sheep brains.
Last year Attwood revealed she'd be keen to join the main show, which heads back Down Under this autumn after relocating to Gwrych Castle in North Wales, during the pandemic, saying: "I'd love to do the jungle. I'd give Dancing on Ice a go, although it does scare me. I'm a bit of a baby, so I don't like getting hurt.
"I feel like the minute I fall over once, I'd be done. I know it sounds dramatic, but I'm just a bit like that.
"For me, the jungle is less scary. So I'd love to do the jungle."
Earlier this year Attwood's first documentary, Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich, aired on BBC and proved a hit with viewers.
TV bosses are now said to be keen to have her front more shows, with ITV said to be eyeing her up as a future Holly Willoughby.
A source told the Sunday Mirror: “Olivia is one to watch. Like Holly and Laura, Olivia is another jewel in the network’s presenters crown and has the magic chemistry and ability."
The insider also said that everybody "loved" working with Attwood.
Attwood is the latest celebrity to be rumoured to be on the I'm A Celeb line-up, joining the likes of Danny Dyer, Alex Beresford, Tom Daley, and James Buckley. Boy George and Hollyoaks star Romeo Nightingale are also speculated to be in the line-up for the ITV series.
