Reality TV is full of highs and lows, but this test of nerves was just too much for one star
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! got off to terrifying start for one contestant on Friday, with the star pulling out of the very first trial of the series.
In scenes that will air Sunday night, comedian Babatúndé Aléshé was unable to confront his fear of heights and take part in the Walk The Plank trial.
As the show returned to Australia for the first time since the pandemic so did the challenge that traditionally kicks off the series. It sees campmates dangling in the air atop a 32-storey building in the Gold Coast.
However, it a twist this year, there was a third platform for celebs to dare the skywalk. It was renamed The Ledge.

In previous years some celebs have overcome their fears during the challenge, lured by the prospects of luxuries when they enter the camp.
But that wasn't the case for Babatúndé. The 34-year-old, MailOnline reported, fell at the first hurdle. After a 45 minute deliberation he was unable to complete the task. Jill Scott and Charlene White had taken on the challenge ahead of him
An onlooker told The Sun: "Babetunde was really struggling during The Ledge and everyone felt for him.
"Jill and Charlene were being really encouraging of Babetunde but to no avail.
"He stood there thinking and willing himself to do it for almost an hour but in the end he chose not to do it."
As in previous years, the celebrities - which this year includes MP Matt Hancock, Boy George, Mike Tindall and Jill Scott - will split into two teams and compete for a slightly better camp in the jungle where they will compete 24 gruelling trials.
