Glastonbury have announced a big change in the ticket buying process this year just days before they are due to go on sale.
Tickets for the iconic festival in 2025 are due to go on sale next Thursday November 14 when coach package options will be released before general admission tickets will be released on Sunday 17 November.
However, it has been revealed that when the sale begins, customers will be assigned a random place in the queue.
When it is your turn to purchase tickets, you will have 10 minutes to enter the website where you will then be asked to enter the registration code and postcode of the lead booker and up to five other people you’re booking tickets for.
However, fans are outraged by the change as festival-goers flocked to X to slam the unfairness of the new system.

One said: “So now a huge amount of people that couldn’t be bothered trying past the first 5mins and sat and moaned on Twitter during the sale can sit there with equal chance… think it’s terrible news.”
Another commented: “Oh ffs! Noooooo. This was a nightmare for Oasis tickets.”
A third added: “I don’t know anyone who has joined a queue system before start time that has been randomly put in a queue to actually get tickets, so don’t hold out much hope! The queues don’t seem random.”
The festival takes place from the 25th – 29th June 2025 with the line up still to be announced.
In 2024 tickets were £355 for the whole weekend but this price is set to rise in 2025 to £378.50.
Oasis fans were left fuming by a similar system which saw many fans miss out earlier this year when their Reunion tour tickets went on sale. The tickets were then spotted on resale sights for astronomical prices.
