Ivan Drago is back.
While we’re certain that Dolph Lundgren has no personal hated towards the Internet, we would really love it if he said “I must break you” after posting this video that every Rocky fan wants to see.
A few months ago, we brought you the news that Sylvester Stallone has completed work on the script for Creed 2 and he’s very open about the plot.
Rocky Balboa himself has been posting on Instagram regarding the sequel to Ryan Coogler’s excellent film, and everyone’s favourite Russian boxer will be returning.
In case you haven’t seen Rocky IV, the story sees Ivan Drago killing Apollo Creed in the ring. Ok, we reckon Lundgren might be a bit tool old to square-off against Adonis ‘Baby’ Creed in the new film, but the actor is in the gym getting ready.
Stallone has said that his screenplay will be 120-pages, which will make the movie about two hours long.
In the sequel, it’s looking very likely that Adonis will be looking to avenge his father’s death.
In a previous Instagram post , Stallone writes: “Here’s a chance to stretch your imagination … HISTORY WILL ALWAYS REPEAT ITSELF IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER, JUST GOT TO BE READY! … Sins of the Father…. #creed2 .
When we last left Adonis Creed, son of the late Apollo Creed, he had finally earned the family name after going the the distance in a grueling fight against ‘Pretty’ Ricky Conlan (Tony Bellew) at Goodison Park.
Next time around, it appears that Drago’s son might be getting in the ring – especially if this Instagram post is anything to go by.
