Game of Thrones’ actor is officially the World’s Strongest Man

Icelander Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, otherwise known as the Mountain after the nickname of his character in Game of Thrones, has been crowned champion at this year's World's Strongest Man competition in the Philippines. 

The man who plays Gregor Clegane also does, physically, resemble a mountain, as he is 6 feet and 9 inches tall and is made up entirely of rocks. Remarkably he has entered World's Strongest Man eight times, finishing in both second and third place before, but never taking home the official title of "Best Picker Upper of Really Heavy Objects Like Logs and Shit".
