Issuing a first statement as her new representatives, the pair said: "We welcome the opportunity to represent Ms. Heard in this appeal as it is a case with important First Amendment implications for every American.
"We're confident the appellate court will apply the law properly without deference to popularity, reverse the judgement against Ms. Heard, and reaffirm the fundamental principles of Freedom of Speech."
Meanwhile, although Depp seems to be free from allegations for now and has even signed a new seven-figure deal with Dior's male fragrance brand, Sauvage, many celebrities now appear to have been unliking the statement he posted following the case.
