This could be Clarkson’s last run on Amazon Prime

The trailer for season two of Jeremy Clarkson‘s Amazon Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm has dropped and people are “absolutely buzzing”.

According to a blurb on the trailer the second season covers Clarkson’s “dealings with the local council as he attempts to diversify his operation with a restaurant; and Kaleb yet again saving the day on numerous occasions”.

Clarkson’s Farm follows the former Top Gear host as he attempts to run a 1,000-acre farm in the Cotswolds, Diddly Squat farm, along with his farmworker Kaleb Cooper.

Clarkson fans, the blurb says, “can expect a deeper insight into another year on Diddly Squat Farm as Jeremy aims to expand his (very) limited agricultural knowledge under the watchful eye of his no-nonsense team – tractor driver Kaleb, stone wall favourite Gerald, advisor ‘Cheerful’ Charlie, Jeremy’s better-half-turned-farm-shop-keeper Lisa and many more.”

It continues: “Get ready for more farming faux pas, as we follow Jeremy & co on their agricultural adventures.”

The second series will launch on 10th February on Prime Video.

One person wrote: “Clarkson’s Farm is the only reality series that is Good. It shows us what farmers go through, and also creates positivity towards farming and how our lives completely depend on it. Amazon please do not cancel this show.”

Another added: “I have waited so long for this. Please do not cancel after season 2. This is the best show on Amazon Prime.”

A third person wrote: “Never thought I’d be so excited for a second season of a farm show but absolutely buzzing for this!”

The trailer comes amid reports Clarkson’s time on Prime is up following his hateful column about Meghan Markle in December where he detailed how he hated her on a “cellular level”.

According to Variety, the streaming service won’t be working with the TV personality beyond seasons of The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm that have already been commissioned. So, the 62-year-old may not be appearing in any new shows on Prime Video beyond 2024.

Clarkson’s future on ITV, where he hosts Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? is also uncertain. While the network says it is contractually required to go ahead with the show, there are reportedly “no further commissioning commitments”, meaning Clarkson, who has hosted the show since 2018, may not continue in the role.

Over the weekend it was reported that a celebrity special has had to be shelved after three female stars refused to work with Clarkson.

The presenter caused a torrent of outrage with his column stating that he “hated” the Duchess of Sussex on a “cellular level”, disliked her more than murderer Rose West, and dreamed about her being paraded through the streets and shamed.

the 62-year-old after he ignited a torrent of outrage with a column in The Sun in December where he describes his “cellular level” hatred of the royal.

The tabloid later deleted the column at Clarkson’s request, after it became the most complained about article ever. Earlier this month Clarkson issued a grovelling apology to Meghan and Harry, which they rejected.
