WWE superstar Paige has reportedly been told that she’ll never wrestle again after suffering a back injury last month.

Paige, whose real name is Saraya-Jade Bevis, suffered the injury when she was kicked during a show in New York on December 28.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the Norwich-born wrestler was informed at Monday’s Raw taping that she would not be medically cleared to return to the ring.

During a tag-team match at Nassau Coliseum, Paige struggled to get back to her feet after being kicked in the back by Sasha Banks.

A stretcher arrived to carry her backstage but, ever the warrior, Paige returned to her dressing room on her feet.

The 25-year-old, who has had an unfortunate track record of neck injuries, was first informed that she would not be able to take part in the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble before it was ultimately advised that she should hang up her wrestling boots for good.

Paige made her wrestling debut at the age of 13 and played a pivotal role in making the WWE’s female division what it is today.

In spite of a couple of suspensions over the past two years, it’s understood that Paige remains well-liked by WWE management and that she may be offered a role in the company away from competition.
