Amanda Bynes has been placed on a psychiatric hold after she was found "roaming the streets naked and alone"
The troubled actress, 36, was seen walking near downtown Los Angeles early on Sunday morning without any clothes on, according to TMZ.
This was after she cancelled a public appearance on Saturday, when she was meant to reunited with the cast of All That at 90's Con. At the time, she cited an "unknown illness" as the reason.
She is said to have waved a car down, telling a driver she was "coming down from a psychotic episode" before she called 911.
Bynes was taken to a police station where a mental health team placed her on a 5150 psychiatric hold.
A 5150 is a legal action from the CA Welfare and Institutions Code. It allows a qualified officer or clinician to confine someone against their will for 72 hours which can be extended. During this time, the person will be fully assessed for their mental health status.
Bynes is currently hospitalized and will likely receive care for several days. She is not believed to have been hurt during the incident.
In January, Bynes told People magazine how she was "really excited" to reunite with her All That co-stars at 90s Con.
The performer starred on the sketch comedy show from 1996 to 2000 alongside Mitchell, 44, Tamberelli, 40, and Denberg, 46.
All That was created by Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin and originally aired on Nickelodeon from April 16, 1994, to October 22, 2005, lasting ten seasons.
The series, which was billed as 'SNL for kids' boasted short comedy sketches and musical guests.
Her attendance at the highly-anticipated reunion, alongside Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Danny Tamberelli and Lori Beth Denberg, would have marked her first public appearance since the end of her eight-year conservatorship in March 2022.
Bynes' mother was her conservator starting back in 2013 when it was clear she began to have issues with her mental health and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. After a series of bizarre incidents - including one where she set her neighbor's driveway on fire, almost engulfing her dog in flames - she was sent to a psychiatric ward for treatment.
