Spain's Euro 2016 forward Nolito is now a Manchester City player.

The former Celta Vigo frontman, who scored his country's second goal in the 3-0 win over Turkey has joined the club for £13.8m. Nolito, who turns 30 in October, is Pep Guardiola's third signing as City boss after İlkay Gündoğan and Aaron Mooy, and joins on a four-year deal. But, as the club have pointed out, not only is he a talented player who has hit double figures for goals in each of the last three seasons, but he is also a very handsome man. https://twitter.com/ManCity/status/748781408747855872 There's no doubting that the Spaniard adds rugged good looks to a City frontline seemingly incapable of growing a full beard between them, but fans were left baffled by the tweet from the club's official account. https://twitter.com/negativevibe1/status/748783873253789697 https://twitter.com/SinghSaab87/status/748785029673660417 https://twitter.com/johngoonerafc/status/748783647973519360

Some raised valid points, though.

With the new Premier League TV deal driving up prices, locking down a talented international forward for less than £15m (even if it was by virtue of him having a generously low release clause) may well end up looking particularly smart come August. Nolito's arrival will raise questions about the future of other members of City's frontline, with the likes of Wilfried Bony linked with moves away from the Etihad. It might also bring an end to those Will Grigg rumours once and for all. JOE Snapchat logo
