WATCH: More deleted and extended scenes from Game of Thrones Season 6 have emerged

Nudity, slaps and direwolves.

Winter is here and Christmas is right around the corner. Now, if you got a character from Game of Thrones for Secret Santa, what would you get them?

In our minds, Tyrion gets a bottle of wine, Daenerys might fancy a fire extinguisher (those dragons are bound to wreck her gaff) and we would definitely buy Jon the newly released Season 6 edition of Game of Thrones on Blyu-Ray,  just so he can see how much of a badass he was during The Battle of the Bastards. He’d like that.

Another reason why the  King in the North (repeat it!) might appreciate this gift is because the latest deleted scenes offer us even more of an insight into how Melisandre, Ser Davos and Dolorous Edd managed to get help from the Wildlings in their efforts to reclaim Castle Black from the mutinous memebers of the Night’s Watch.

Remember the moment in the Season 6 premiere when Ser Davos realises that those loyal to Jon Snow were hopelessly outnumbered and needed help from those people that were in debt to Jon? This scene explains how Edd managed to leave Castle Black in one piece (it’s clear that the CGI needed a bit of a boost though).

Another deleted scene almost acts as a middle finger to the show’s critics. Remember when Arya was watching a play in the free city of Braavos that saw actors retell the story of Ned Stark, Robert Baratheon and Tyrion Lannister, aka the early seasons of Game of Thrones?

Well, let’s just say that things go a bit meta.

Take a look.
