‘Like Noah is a kid… I don’t even know how old he is’
Doja Cat has accused a member of the Stranger Things cast of “snake sh*t” after he shared their private message exchange with his millions of followers.
While Will Byers had barely any lines this season, his actor, Noah Schnapp, may have spoken without thinking and landed himself in an awkward viral moment with the American rapper.
On his TikTok, where he boasts an impressive 26.3m followers, Schnapp collated various screenshots and interactions with Doja Cat on Instagram. The first saw the Woman singer reply to a comment about Stranger Things newcomer Eddie Munson, played by Joseph Quinn, and how it’s “f*****g criminal” to look that good.

Switching to a screenshot of his private messages, Doja wrote: “Noah can u tell Joseph to hmu. Wait no. Does he have a gf?”
Now fully playing cupid, the 17-year-old breakout star replied: “LMAOO slide into his dms.”
But Doja couldn’t find Quinn’s Instagram, no doubt amongst the hundreds of tribute pages, and so Schnapp provided it with an affirming: “Right here, ma’am.”
The 26-year-old, real name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, has since responded through an Instagram live, but it’s probably not the outcome Schnapp was hoping for.
“To be fair, first let’s be chill about it,” she began. “Like Noah is a kid… I don’t even know how old he is, but he’s not even over – like there’s no way he’s over 21.”

She continued: “But when you’re that young, you make mistakes. You do dumb s**t. I’m trying to be super fair. You do dumb s**t, you say dumb s**t, you f***ing f*** up relationships with people. You make mistakes.
“You’re supposed to, so that you know you’re not to do that iin the future. I did my share of f**k ups so that I don’t f**k up again.”

She continued to say that his actions were “socially unaware and whack” and that it’s borderline snake and “weasel s**t.”
Doja added: “Maybe he is, like, a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it, and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.”

Fans of the musician and the TV show have been reacting online, where some have agreed with Doja, and others have questioned why she was asking a 17-year-old about his 29-year-old coworker anyway.
“Imagine being a grown ass adult beefing with a literal minor online bc you went into his dms tryna use him to snatch urself up a man,” one person wrote.
In contrast, another said: “17 year old teenagers are fully capable of taking responsibility for their dumb ass actions.”
Neither Schnapp nor Quinn has responded since the Instagram live.
