Your iPhone is no longer just compatible with an Apple Watch

Good news for iPhone users.

It's now no longer just the Apple Watch that's compatible with your iPhones. Google's line of Android wear smartwatches also now work with your Apple iPhone, the search engine giant officially announced. However, it's not completely straightforward. If you want your notifications from your iPhone to appear on your Android watch, you'll need iOS 8.2 or a more recent and an Apple phone from the last three years. You're also going to need one of the latest Android Wear watches - and two of them aren't even available yet. The yet to be launched Huawei Watch and ASUS ZenWatch 2 are set to be compatible with iOS when they are launched, with their release date expected soon.
