If you've got one of these phones then you can kiss WhatsApp goodbye...
WhatsApp has virtually replaced SMS as the way that most smartphone users text one another, but come January 1 of next year, some phones will no longer be able to run the popular app.
Last year, WhatsApp published a list of smartphones and operating systems that would no longer be compatible with their app come the new year.
If you're currently running with any of the following, then you might need to update either your operating system or your phone:
BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10
Nokia S40
Nokia Symbian S60
Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
Windows Phone 7
iPhone 3GS/iOS 6
According to a statement from WhatsApp, the decision was taken in order to "focus efforts on the mobile platforms the vast majority of people use."
The company's blog post about the change can be read in full here.
