WATCH: This backflipping robot proves the machines are about to rise up and kill us all

Technological singularity is the term for when artificial intelligence gets to the point where it rapidly becomes more clever than its creators, and probably destroys the human race. It’s a plot point in many a science fiction film, but many worry that it could genuinely happen.
