This new iPhone case transforms your phone into a functioning Game Boy

Game Boy phone covers are nothing new, but the latest arrival on the market might just tempt you to part with some of your hard, earned cash.

Made by Wanle Cases, this new case, which can be easily fitted to the back of an iPhone 6, 6S, 6 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, or X, actually allows users to play Game Boy games. Built with an old-school screen and the iconic Nintendo handset's familiar control buttons, the cover comes loaded with ten games, including Tetris, Tank, Formula One Racing and Snake and Block. It's not clear at this stage if it will be possible to play any more games on the case. To play its games, a small battery can be inserted into its inside corner before you snap the cover on to the back of your iPhone. From there, you're good to go. The case, which is available in white or black, is currently on sale for $24.95 (just over 18 quid). Be warned though, the company's website says its regular retail price is $79.95 (nearly £58), so if you're after one, you might want to act quickly. Its makers appear to be anticipating it to be in high demand, too, limiting sales to five per customer.
