This hack substantially increases your storage on your iPhone

That pop-up on an iPhone screen telling you your storage is running out is the most hated notification of all time.

Thankfully, someone has discovered a hack that will give you extra space. And we can confirm it’s legit as I freed up a whole extra 1GB. The trick was discussed on the Reddit iPhone forum and is being shared massively. To activate it go to Settings – General – About and check your available storage. Then go to iTunes and try rent something really big like Lord of The Rings: Two Towers. As iTunes tries to download the film you’ll get a pop up saying there’s not enough space. Click OK. Then something technologically magical happens and certain apps will appear as “cleaning.” Then when you return to your available storage, the free space will have grown. The more you try rent the film, the more space becomes available. You're welcome.
