Sky has launched a new ultra cheap smart TV with 4K, voice control and WiFi streaming that means you do not have to fit a Sky dish or use a box.
The new Sky Glass Air is the cheapest TV Sky has ever sold and costs just £309, or £6 a month, for the 43-inch version to buy the set outright, with options to upgrade up to a 65-inch option.
The new TV sets go on sale today and is the brand’s big challenger to the Apple 4K TV as streaming services move into the TV hardware market.
The voice-controlled Sky Glass TV has been around for a few years now as the brand’s first ever move into the physical TV market. It has proved to be a hit thanks to its superb picture quality and clever operating system that can build watch lists across multiple apps based on your preferences.
It also comes with colour options - you can get Sea Green, Carbon Grey, and Cotton White options to suit your decor - and is slim enough to hang on a wall.
Sky has now launched a budget version of the Glass TV, named Air, and it is on sale in the UK from today here.
The new Sky Glass Air costs just £309 for the 43-inch 4K TV and is set up to watch Sky packages without the need for a box or a dish on the side of a house, instead running on your WiFi to stream live TV and on-demand services.
The larger 55-inch TV costs £509 and the largest Sky Glass Air in the range, the 65-inch TV, is priced at £649.

Buyers who want Sky channels will have to add that on as a package with Sky's cheapest option priced at £15 for the essentials package. For that price you get Sky channels and free Netflix, which can be installed as an app on the Glass Air TV.
You can also watch Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Disney+ and other streaming services on the Sky Glass TV and the operating system allows you to create playlists and favourites to group your favourite TV series and films together by category.
