Shoppers rush to buy Chromebook that’s been slashed by £100 for limited time

'Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised'

The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 Chromebook is usually priced at £249.99 but has dropped by £100.

You can get the 'excellent' device for £149.99 for a limited on Amazon, which is 'selling fast' according to the website.

It's dropped back to one of its lowest prices ever, but not quite as low as Black Friday which saw it available for £129.

However you can still make a big saving on the device, which shoppers have dubbed 'great value for money'.

Some of its features include a 14-inch screen, 4GB of storage, and a shiny blue casing design.

It's also lightweight, so you can take it on-the-go for work or leisure, while its battery life is up to 13.5 hours so you don't need to worry about keeping it on charge all day.

More than 700 shoppers have tried and tested the Lenovo Chromebook, giving it an average rating of 4.4 stars on Amazon.

One customer said in their five star review: "I'm honestly so impressed with this thing and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new upgrade.

"The setup was a total breeze and took me maybe 10 minutes from start to finish. No annoying tech hurdles or endless loading screens which was a huge relief.

"The build quality is excellent. It feels sturdy and well made, not like some of those flimsy plastic models you usually see. But the real winner is the colour. It is genuinely stunning and way more unique than the standard silver or black laptops everywhere else."

Another compared it to Apple's price point, writing: "Comfortable to use. Some features are not as good as Apple products but okay for the price paid.

"Easy to carry around, good battery life and I like the way it remembers things you have done. Good screen colours and the keyboard is very responsive. Loads of features to support a wide range of normal IT activities. Great product for basic work requirements without the cost of other more expensive products."
