Mia Khalifa publicly posts DM from the man who wants to kill the internet as we know it

That didn't go well

Mia Khalifa 1-0 The Moron Behind Last Week’s Net Neutrality Vote.

If you’re going to take away people’s right to a free and equal internet, it’s probably best to keep your head down and not publish anything that might come back to embarrass you.

It’s a thought that Ajit Pai would do well to take on board, after the goon behind last week’s vote to repeal the 2015 Open Internet Order sent a DM to Mia Khalifa, one of the world’s most popular porn stars.

Pai – who led last week’s vote – has been accused of enriching giant corporations while screwing people out of the right to access the likes of Facebook, Netflix or YouTube without having to pay a premium.

Thanks to Barack Obama, American internet users did not have to pay more to get on Facebook or Netflix and then chew their own faces off in exasperation as the buffering sign spins endlessly every five minutes or so.

Last week, however, the Federal Communications Commission voted 3 to 2 in favour of dismantling these regulations, and the fear is spreading that America may be paving the way for other countries (including the UK) to do the exact same thing.

Anyway, back to his DM to Khalifa.

FCC commissioner Pai fancied a little bit of downtime after playing Santa Claus to Internet Service Providers the world over (and the Grinch to the rest of us) by sliding into Khalifa’s DMs. Big mistake. She immediately posted it to her Instagram page, deleting it a few minutes later (but thanks to Huzlers.com for the screengrab).
