The Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World have finally arrived and there's a bundle trick that will help you save £40 on its launch day.
Amazon is currently one of the only retailers stocking the standalone console and bundle editions of the Switch 2.
The standalone console is currently priced at £395.99 on Amazon, while new game Mario Kart World is priced at £74.95.
However the bundle is priced at £429.99, so that is a saving of £40 when buying the standard Nintendo Switch 2 console and Mario Kart World.
The new Mario Kart World is the flagship game of the latest console. Nintendo says the new Mario Kart game will be more open world than ever before, with extensive multi player and new driver and track options available.
The game will feature 24 drivers in each race – the most in Mario Kart history – and allow players to drive off the race track.
While the release of more console stock on Amazon comes after fans snapped up the Switch 2 when pre orders opened back in April.
It was recently rumoured that Nintendo was pre-empting the console selling out again this week as they sent ‘out of stock’ signs to shops ahead of the Switch 2 launch.
An image of one such sign was shared to the Nintendo Switch 2 subreddit by Alternative_Basket19. They don’t say which store they spotted this in, but users have suggested it’s a US retailer like Target or Best Buy.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to be one of the best-selling consoles of 2025. The successor to the Nintendo Switch, the new console has eight times more storage than the previous generation, a faster processor for more seamless gameplay and revamped controllers that include the ability to use the joy-con controllers as a mouse to play more games.
You can order the standalone console here on Amazon and the console bundle here on Amazon.
