How to solve the annoying unlock glitch in the new iPhone update
Have you installed the new iOS10 update on your iPhone yet?
If so, you'll have noticed a big change when it comes to unlocking.
Basically, the simple slide-to-unlock feature - which brought up the option to enter your passcode - is no more. Instead, now you have to press the 'home' button to bring up the passcode option.
In theory, this shouldn't be too much of a challenge to seasoned iPhone users. But the change is NOT going down well.
I've had iOS10 for a while now and I still slide to unlock

Well, there's some good news and some bad news about how to deal with this.
The bad news is that the slide-to-unlock feature appears to be gone forever.
The good news - or, at least, the slightly better news - is that you can change your settings so that the old Touch ID option replaces the click-the-home-button-and-type-the-code feature.
(Of course, this won't mean anything to you if you never used Touch ID to begin with).
Here's how you do it:
In your settings, click on General - Accessibility - Home Button - Rest Finger To Open.
Look, it's not everything that Apple users might want, but it's something, right?
