How to solve the annoying unlock glitch in the new iPhone update

Have you installed the new iOS10 update on your iPhone yet?

If so, you'll have noticed a big change when it comes to unlocking. Basically, the simple slide-to-unlock feature - which brought up the option to enter your passcode - is no more. Instead, now you have to press the 'home' button to bring up the passcode option. In theory, this shouldn't be too much of a challenge to seasoned iPhone users. The bad news is that the slide-to-unlock feature appears to be gone forever. The good news - or, at least, the slightly better news - is that you can change your settings so that the old Touch ID option replaces the click-the-home-button-and-type-the-code feature. (Of course, this won't mean anything to you if you never used Touch ID to begin with).
