Amazon has confirmed Prime Day will begin at exactly midnight on Tuesday, 8 July and shared a list of brands that will drop prices for the sale.
The sale will only be available for people who have signed up to Amazon Prime. That usually costs £8.99 a month but you can get a free trial here to take advantage of the Prime Day deals.
The first of tens of thousands of deals will go live at midnight and the sale will continue for four days in the longest Prime Day event ever launched by the shopping giant.
Unfortunately for shoppers there will be so many deals it may be difficult to find the best ones in the reams of listings on the Amazon website, with thousands of lesser known brands dropping prices alongside the more established names.
Amazon has leaked the big name brands that will be in the sale and listed those that have launched early deals. They include wireless doorbell brand Ring, TV makers Panasonic and Toshiba, vacuum cleaner and fan experts Shark and major headphone brand Soundcore.
Soundcore has launched its deals early on the Amazon platform with wireless headphones for just £16 in the early Prime Day sale. The P20i True Wireless Earbuds are reduced by 47% and promise 30 hours of battery life on a single charge. You can get the deal here.
Other discounts include Ring wireless doorbells and Amazon’s own tech including Echo Dot and Echo Show devices, plus Fire Tablets.
The full list of brands includes vacuum cleaners by Shark, Vax and eufy, kitchen appliance brands Russell Hobbs, Bissell and Tefal, Oral-B toothbrushes, Amazon’s own brands including Ring, and Anker, which specialises in power banks, soundbars and headphones.
There are also grocery brands included and Cadbury has launched a discount on a giant box of Oreo chocolate in its pre-sale list.
All of the brands have early discounted items. They will be joined at midnight by the likes of Ninja, which will cut the price of air fryers, ice cream makers and other kitchen appliances, toymaker Lego, and Dyson vacuum cleaners, according to Amazon’s leaked list of brands.
