PSV Eindhoven needed something from their trip to Feyenoord on Sunday.

If they were to keep in the Eredivisie title race, a point was the very least that they required as they aimed to claw their way back into the running with their table-topping opponents. The tie was finely poised at 1-1 when PSV forward Gaston Pereiro snatched an equaliser on the hour mark after Jens Toornstra had opened the scoring for Feyenoord early on. Everything was going according to plan. But, dreadfully unaware of his surroundings, Zoet then looked to scoop the ball into his chest but forgot that he so happened to be sat over the goal-line. And the unfortunate goalkeeper was not in the least bit happy about the goal-line technology that had caught him out. "This is seriously fucked up", Zoet told NOS. "The goal-line technology made the difference and things could have been different if it had not. "He went only by his watch. If that had not happened, I think he would have said no goal. "You should always keep believing in things, but the title is very far away. [It's] a serious blow."
