Would you like some free NBA action?

Tonight we see the Philadelphia 76ers go up against current Eastern Conference leaders the Boston Celtics in the NBA’s only game to be hosted in London in 2018.

BT Sport have announced that it will simulcast the game live to fans across the UK on their Facebook page. So whether you’re a new fan who’s never watched a game before or a fan who couldn’t get a ticket for the live event itself, this is the perfect way to enjoy the entertainment without having to part with a single penny.

Fans will be able to watch the game held at The O2 arena in London on Facebook beginning at 8pm GMT, in addition to BT Sport’s live TV coverage at the same time on BT Sport 2 (HD).  The Facebook stream will feature the league’s “NBA Mobile View” feed, delivering a closer shot of the action optimised for viewing on the smaller screens of tablets and phones.

In a statement made by Simon Green, head of BT Sport, he said: “We are delighted to be making the NBA London Game 2018 to the widest possible audience on our Facebook page.  It’s a great way of promoting the fact that BT Sport broadcasts up to seven live NBA games per week throughout the regular season, including a primetime game every Sunday.”

BT Sport’s Facebook live stream will also be shared on the NBA’s Facebook page in the UK.

So what’s it going to be? Are you going green to support Kyrie Irving and the Celtics? Or is it Philly blue for rookie of the year contender Ben Simmons and his 76ers? Regardless of who your team is at least you get to watch the game for free.

The Philadelphia 76ers host the Boston Celtics at The O2 in London tonight as part of NBA London Game 2018. The game is live on BT Sport, on BT Sport’s Facebook page or via NBA LEAGUE PASS.
