Jurgen Klopp appears almost certain to become Liverpool's next manager with talks seemingly hurtling towards a conclusion before the end of the week.
Famed for his time as manager of Borussia Dortmund, Klopp also managed Mainz 05 - the club for which he spent his entire playing career.
Klopp never made it to the Bundesliga, but came mightily close. The game which features in the first of the videos shown below sees Klopp's side take on Wolfsburg in 1997.
Victory for either side would see them promoted to the Bundesliga. Although Klopp can be seen scoring for his side, his mistake towards the end of the game meant that Wolfsburg were victorious.
