Magic Lionel Messi’s El Clasico brilliance summed up in two-minute video

Could watch this all day

The little man was on form Sunday night.

Top of the table clash at the home of your most bitter rivals in front of a global audience of gazillions: seems like just the stage for Lionel Messi to unveil one of those 90 minutes of perfection that he has made his calling card over the course of a career that has now yielded 500 Barcelona goals.

Real Madrid thought they had rescued a point with James Rodriguez’s smart finish but Messi popped up to break Los Blancos’ hearts with virtually the last kick of the game – a sumptuous first-time left foot strike from the edge of the area to go with his earlier dribble and glorious finish.

As you can see below, he loves a left foot finish and he loves scoring at the Bernabeu, and when he scores Barcelona invariably win.

But stats can be so dry, dry and cold. How about watching the little magician in action, highlighting all the good he did, all the hits he took and all the joy he generated by playing football in the most magical way?

Right this way.
