Admit it, there's something weirdly enjoyable about watching a professional footballer miss an absolute sitter.
With this in mind, it's only right that we show you what happened in New York in the small of hours of Thursday morning.
With 65 minutes played at the Yankee Stadium, New York City FC's game with Sporting Kansas City was scoreless.
With the home side on the attack, Maxi Moralez looked to have laid on the perfect cross for the home side to get their noses in front.
Having lost his marker, Sean Okoli appeared well placed to nudge the ball over the line for NYCFC. This, however, was not the case...
Perhaps put off by the defender in in front of him, Okoli completely mistimed his kick - the ball skidding past him and hitting teammate Khiry Shelton at the back post before being cleared by the visitors.
Thankfully for the majority of those in attendance at the game, the miss didn't prove to be too costly. Englishman Jack Harrison was on hand to score the only goal of the game six minutes from time.
The miss can be seen at 1:47 in the video below. Alternatively, skip to 2:40 for Harrison's late winning goal.
