Jose Mourinho cruelly teases one more summer signing

Is this the big one?

If you’re hoping to see Jose Mourinho triumphantly announce the marquee signing of Paul Pogba, prepare to be disappointed.

Prior to kick-off of Wayne Rooney’s testimonial on Tuesday night, the Special One gave an interview on the pitch in which he spoke about his plans for the rest of the summer transfer window.

Manchester United have been linked with bringing prodigal son Paul Pogba back to the club from Juventus since Old Trafford was merely another square of land on Pangaea, but so far no official announcement has been made.

Mourinho remained very coy on the Pogba rumours during his pre-match interview confirming that he has plans to bring in one more player to the club, but refused to name exactly who that might be.

“We’re going to sign one more player, that’s for sure. I don’t like to speak about Paul (Pogba) because he’s a Juventus player and I don’t like other managers to speak about my players., I don’t speak about their players.”

“The reality is that we are going to sign one more player. The market closes on August 31, obviously I’d like to do it before then, before the Premier League starts.”
