Rafael da Silva was a fan favourite at Old Trafford, but always had a mistake in him.
The Brazilian right back was good going forward and solid on his bright days, but never achieved the consistency that some hoped for Rafael is now six games into his new life at Lyon but not much seems to have changed. With 47 minutes gone in his side's clash with Montpellier, the Brazilian casually stroked a back-pass towards his goalkeeper without ever spotting striker Casimir Ninga. Anthony Lopes made a good initial save but could do nothing with the rebound.
