Fans tip Conor McGregor to beat Nate Diaz…not realising Diaz is stood behind them

This is brilliant

All of a sudden, Nate Diaz is the darling of late night TV.

Last week we saw the no-nonsense Stockton fighter take to Conan to promote his upcoming UFC 202 rematch with Conor McGregor and, now, he’s donated some of his time to Jimmy Kimmel.

Diaz appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday in a skit that some Conor McGregor fans won’t forget in a hurry.

In the feature entitled ‘What’s Up with Nate Diaz?’, the fourth-ranked lightweight in the UFC sneaked up behind fight fans who were predicting a McGregor win at UFC 202… and the smack-talk aimed at Diaz quickly disappeared once he revealed his presence.

Diaz famously claimed their initial meeting at UFC 196 but ‘The Notorious’ remains a favourite for the welterweight rematch and plenty believe the Irishman will avenge his first loss in the UFC come August 20.

But that’s easy to say when one of the best fighters in the world isn’t two yards away.

They truly don’t know how lucky they are to have avoided the Stockton Slap.
