We'd forgive Fernandinho the decision to start Neymar ahead of Sergio Aguero but to exclude all of his Manchester City teammates seems a little bit bizarre. Rather than start England international and two-time Premier League winner Joe Hart in goal, Fernandinho handed the imaginary gloves to Guilherme Marinato, the stopper with whom he started out his career in Brazil. International teammate David Luiz was given the nod ahead of club captain Vincent Kompany.
