Conor McGregor is back working with Ido Portal ahead of Nate Diaz rematch

Not a pool noodle in sight

If nothing else, Ido Portal’s return to Conor McGregor’s fight camp should ensure more gems from Nate Diaz.

Arguably the most memorable quotes from that elite trash-talking exhibition known as the UFC 196 press conference were zingers at the movement coach’s expense courtesy of the wonderfully unfiltered mind of Diaz.

It’s safe to say that the Stockton native doesn’t have much respect for the man who has come under a considerable amount of ridicule for his unorthodox training sessions ever since he started working with McGregor.

“Who do you train with? You’ve got that little goofy motherfucker with you. I have real training partners,”

“Top 10 fighters, Top 10 boxers, Top 10 jiu-jitsu guys, Top 10 kickboxers. You’re playing touch-butt with that dork in the park with the pony tail. And I’m the one who don’t got no training partners? I don’t think so.”

McGregor has admitted that he’s doing things a little differently in his preparations for the welterweight do-over scheduled for UFC 202, but one thing he hasn’t changed for this camp is the movement training.

The undisputed featherweight champion posted footage of Portal training with him in SBG ahead of the Diaz rematch.

In case you were worried, no butts were touched in this video.
