Miocic versus Jones would certainly see the PPVs rocket.
Jones was at a meet-and-greet event for sports nutrition company GAT on Sunday and detailed his comeback plans.
He said, "Next up is Daniel Cormier - I'm getting my belt back - then Anthony Johnson and then maybe a move to heavyweight."
Jones also raved about McGregor and the impact he has had on the promotion since his 2013 debut.
He commented, "Conor is incredible for the sport.
"I love his psychology. He is a fighter a lot of other people can learn from, including myself."
