'Heavy metal football' may be a phrase that stalks Jurgen Klopp during his time at Liverpool.
Similarly, 'death by football' was used as a stick to beat Brendan Rodgers whenever his side came up short.
So far in Klopp's brief reign the phrase – which Klopp once used to describe Borussia Dortmund's style of play – has come in handy for pundits and journalists looking to describe the sheer scale of the task ahead of the German.
Jamie Carragher was at it on Sunday when assessing the insipid first half display from Klopp's side against Southampton.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher said that Liverpool were more like a church choir than a heavy metal band.
