Who can forget that glorious evening when the Sky Sports reporter was at the receiving end of a purple dildo in the ear at Everton’s Finch Farm on transfer deadline day.
Rather disappointingly, Irwin reacted with absolute professionalism. He hardly flinched when the rogue sex toy invaded his aural passage, instead continuing manfully through the ordeal.
The response from this Italian reporter under similar provocation was slightly different.
After a few seconds of trying to ignore the poker-faced prankster waving a giant inflatable banana in his mush, the flustered broadcaster snapped, grabbed the offending article and whacked the assailant.
