Legendary quarterback Peyton Manning has denied allegations he used human growth hormones when recovering from neck surgery.
The Denver Broncos QB released a statement on Saturday night following claims made in an Al Jazeera documentary, "The Dark Side".

English hurdler Liam Collins went undercover to investigate the global problem of performance enhancing drugs and interviewed Charlie Sly, a Texas-based pharmacist who worked at an Indiana-based anti-aging clinic in 2011.
Sly told Collins that Manning was just one high-profile athlete who received human growth hormones from the clinic.
Sly alleges Manning received the hormones through his wife while recovering from neck fusion surgeries when he was still with the Indianapolis Colts.
Sly has subsequently retracted the statements he makes in the documentary.
“The statements on any recordings or communications that Al Jazeera plans to air are absolutely false and incorrect,” he said.
“To be clear, I am recanting any such statements and there is no truth to any statement of mine that Al Jazeera plans to air. Under no circumstances should any of those recordings, statements or communications be aired.”
A SuperBowl winner with the Colts in 2006, the 39-year-old Manning has been out with a foot injury since November 15th. No one has yet tested positive for HGH, an offence that carries a four-game ban within the NFL.
