This morning, a huge breaking update was revealed that Chelsea are reportedly in talks over the potential signing of world-class Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
The deal reported was a season-long loan with a potential buy option afterwards.
Also, it has been stated that Romelu Lukaku would transfer to Napoli too, with the Blues holding out for a fee of around £30million.
The Belgian international has formerly played on loan at Inter Milan and Roma, after re-signing for Chelsea in 2021.
It is understood that Lukaku is due to return to the Chelsea training base at Cobham, where he will train with the likes of Trevoh Chalobah, whilst the rest of the team embark on a US pre-season tour.
However regarding Osimhen, a fresh update from his agent Roberto Calenda contradicts earlier reports.
Addressing his followers on X, the agent stated:
"I read about ‘fantasy exchanges’ with Victor… as if he was a package to be delivered quickly.
"This package is the top scorer of the third Scudetto in the history of Napoli.
"Respect and stop fake news!"
