UFC star shouts out Joe Ledley after dominant victory in Glasgow

That's a first

Joe Ledley loves a good dance.

It’s become something of a tradition for the Wales international to break into a jig to celebrate a victory and now he’s even inspiring his fellow countrymen to follow suit.

Welsh bantamweight Brett Johns stretched his undefeated professional MMA record to 14-0 on Sunday evening when he took to the Octagon for his second UFC outing.

Over the course of 15 minutes in Glasgow, Johns put on a wrestling masterclass to take a pretty comprehensive victory against Albert Morales.

Johns effectively took the striking out of the equation by repeatedly getting Morales’ back against the fence, grabbing a body lock and putting him on his backside via double-legs, which he claimed at will.

Two judges viewed the fight as a routine 30-27 win for the Welshman while the third reckoned Johns had earned two 10-8s, giving him a 30-25.

The zero on the record of ‘The Pikey’ remained intact as he embraced his American opponent after the final buzzer.

And Johns took full advantage of his moment in the spotlight as he stared into the camera and shouted “Joe Ledley, baby!” after a Ledley-esque dance in the centre of the Octagon.
