Another two years passes and this time he's forced to forfeit 10% of his purse to Jeremy Stephens for weighing 0.5 lbs over the 146 lb limit. However, he did manage to score a unanimous decision victory over the knockout monster.
Last year the penalty he received was increased to 20% of his purse after tipping the scales at 150.5 lbs ahead of his bout against Myles Jury. He was given additional time to try to shed the extra weight, but he elected not to do it.

Oliveira hit championship weight... for lightweight. That's right, Oliveira came in at 155 lbs, a staggering 9 lbs over, while his opponent did his job and weighed 146 lbs on the scales.
