Tyrell Malacia made his first Manchester United appearance in 17 months after he played for the U21 last night.
The 25-year-old played the first half against Huddersfield in the EFL trophy in which a tie the youth team lost 4-1.
Malacia has been out of action for over a year after two complicated bouts of knee surgery.
He last played as a substitute in the Netherlands’ Nations League final defeat by Croatia in June 2023.
Malacia made 39 appearances for United in 2022-23, his first season at the club.
Technical director Jason Wilcox, head of academy Nick Cox and first-team coach Darren Fletcher were all in attendance.
