His performance created plenty of excitement amongst Manchester City supporters, who were quick to suggest the young Nigerian was a better alternative than Manchester United's Anthony Martial.
Martial, who United signed for a hefty fee in the summer, had impressed a day earlier in his team's victory away at Derby.
