Nate Diaz sure knows how to kick a man when he's down.
The American MMA star was the late replacement opponent for Conor McGregor at UFC 196 on Saturday but it was widely reported that he was in great shape to fight at 12 days' notice as he had been in training for a triathlon.
However, after the second-round submission victory that ended McGregor's unbeaten UFC record, Diaz claimed he had instead been hanging out in Mexico before getting the call to face the Notorious.
And now, Diaz has posted an Instagram video of him knocking back shots on a yacht that is sure to rub salt in the still fresh wounds of the Irishman.
The caption reads: "I wasn't trainjng [sic] for a triathalon before this fight I was on a yacht in cabo gettin my chillax on wit my dudes @gilbertmelendez and crew before I got the call but #alwaysreadyforwar in season or not."
