The trailer for a new Amazon Prime documentary about the life of Wayne Rooney has been released.
'ROONEY' is set to be released early next year and has been directed by BAFTA winner Matt Smith, with the documentary aiming to provide viewers with a closer look into the life of the Manchester United legend.
As well as focusing on the highs and lows of Rooney's playing career, the documentary will also look at some of the issues he faced away from the pitch and in his personal life.
The documentary will incorporate interviews from the former England captain's teammates, wife, ex-manager and opposition players.

David Beckham, Gary Neville and former Three Lions boss Sven-Goran Eriksson are all set to feature in the documentary, as well as Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and the former England captain's wife, Coleen.
Amazon Prime Video unveiled Rooney's documentary on Tuesday at a Sport Showcase event in London.
Martin Buckland, head of content at Prime Video UK and Nordics, said in a statement: "'Rooney' is an honest and intimate documentary about one of the country’s most famous sports stars who has faced untold pressure from a very young age.
"Prime members will get to hear from Wayne himself on the events and moments that shaped who he was as a player and who he is as a man."
Rooney played over 750 games during his professional career, tallying over 300 goals. He also holds the record for the most goals for England (53).
