Today’s Europa League draw – everything you need to know


It’s time to warm those balls.

Liverpool, Man United and Spurs have all secured their places in the next round of the Europa League and this is when it starts to get really interesting.

The last 16 of the tournament generally sees the wheat separated from the chaff as suddenly the competition goes from something of a distraction to a mouth-watering array of prestige games.

Friday – today – at high noon. It’s taking place in Nyon in Switzerland – because neutrality and [redacted] gold.
