Frampton isn't shirking away from his challenge
Carl Frampton is currently in the beginning of a 12-week training regime as he prepares to return to the ring for the first time since his defeat to Josh Warrington in December 2018.
In the latest episode of TKO with 32Red, host Chris Lloyd and the team popped down to Frampton's training camp in Hull, where he was being put through his paces by coach Jamie Moore.
Frampton doesn't yet know who he'll fight in his August return to the ring, a fight that - should he win - may result in a world title fight with Oscar Valdez, the WBO featherweight champ who faces Erick Ituarte on June 8.
Should that fight against Valdez come to pass, Frampton is extremely confident that he has what it takes to become a world champion yet again.
"I feel good. I feel confident," said Frampton to Chris Lloyd. "I took a long break before deciding to continue. I didn't want to bow out on a defeat like that.
"I still believe I can win a world title. I can beat the top guys on a good day, I just need to perform.
"Leo Santa Cruz, Oscar Valdez, Josh Warrington, all these guys."

While there is no opponent, date or venue for Frampton's next fight, the Belfast native has said that those details will be confirmed soon.
"At this moment in time no opponent has been mentioned," he said.
"I have no idea who it will be.
"These first few weeks are all about losing some weight and getting fit. Then we will finalise everything else."
