Dirk Kuyt's Feyenoord fell to a 1-0 defeat in their Dutch league match at Den Haag, thanks to a spectacular own goal.

With the ball loose in the Feyenoord area, the home side sent a looping header towards the back post. With a few defenders clustered nearby the falling ball, it seemed that the ball would swiftly be thumped clear of danger. Unfortunately for the Rotterdam club, that wasn't the case... Young 21-year-old defender Sven van Beek seems to take his eye off the ball for a split second, before attempting to volley clear with his right foot.
