James Nesbitt is a huge football fan, but if you had him pegged as a future Ballon d'Or host then you're probably lying.

We did a double-take when we saw that the actor will join Kate Abdo in presenting the ceremony in Switzerland, but we assure you it's not a mistake. The Northern Irishman and keen Manchester United fan will take on a role occupied in the past by the likes of Ruud Gullit at the star-studded gala. It is the Murphy's Law star's most challenging role since he played Yuri in The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles back in 1992. Let's hope he turns up - we wouldn't want him getting Cold Feet, would we...
