The record goalscorer picked up a knee problem in the league meeting with Las Palmas, but there is now some positive news.
Messi was all smiles as he posted an update from the club’s medical suite, suggesting he is feeling positive about his recovery.
For now, though, the Catalan club will have to make do with Luis Suarez and Neymar. Not too bad a deal, then.
