The influx of foreign players into the Premier League has made English club football more exciting than ever.
Players like Dennis Bergkamp, Eric Cantona and Sergio Aguero have given fans some of the most magical moments of the Premier League down the years.
But while the domestic game has thrived, the national team has suffered. So much so that a shockingly low amount of English players have made an appearance in this season's Champions League.

With just 12 participants in Europe's premier club competition, England has fallen behind the likes of Israel (16) and even Belarus (13).
At the top end of things, England is light years behind the likes of Spain (59), France (42) and Germany (38).
